Since 2004 Evolution News & Views has been your front-row seat to the debate over intelligent design and evolution, breaking stories about scientific research, academic freedom cases, and educational policy issues while providing news analysis that cuts through the spin on science stories in the media.
Now ENV is bringing you the reporting and news analysis you trust with a new look — and new tools you can use to share the information you find here and interact with our authors on selected articles.
We’ve also made a few changes to the layout that should help you find the most important articles on our site. Top stories will be featured in this space and may remain as long as they are relevant, with the latest news continually updating below. On the sidebar we have a scrolling list of top articles, as well as the latest podcasts and videos, and if you’re looking for the latest news by category, click on the navigation bar and select from “Evolution,” “Intelligent Design,” “Science,” “Academic Freedom,” “Culture & Ethics,” “Education,” and “Faith & Science.”
If you’re on Facebook, check out the Participate feature in our sidebar, which will show you what ENV articles your friends are sharing. At the bottom of each article are links to share with your friends via Twitter, Facebook, and even good old-fashioned email. Sharing is caring, and this feature makes it easier than ever for you to care about the debate and discuss it with your friends and family.
Of course, you might want to discuss it with the scientists and scholars themselves. To that end, comments will be allowed on selected articles. All comments are held for moderation. The debate over evolution and intelligent design attracts all kinds, including those who detract from the conversation by their obnoxious behavior. In order to maintain a higher level of discourse, we will not publish comments that use foul language, ad hominem attacks, threats, or are otherwise uncivil.
We hope that these changes will help us better serve you. If you have comments regarding our new design, please don’t hesitate to contact us at contact@evolutionnews.org.
