Top ID Thinkers Jay Richards, Jonathan Witt Will Cover the Eclipse via Facebook

Want to see today’s eclipse online? You can’t do better than follow it in company with two top thinkers in the intelligent design movement, both Senior Fellows with Discovery Institute’s Center for Science & Culture: Jay Richards, co-author of The Privileged Planet, and Jonathan Witt, co-author of A Meaningful World: How the Arts and Sciences Reveal the Genius of Nature.

Dr. Witt and Dr. Richards will be covering the event via Facebook, from vantages in Missouri and Tennessee, which may be live or archived later depending on Internet access. Not knowing which is of course part of the excitement. Once their coverage is posted, you can watch it anytime. Just go to their personal Facebook pages (here and here, respectively), where you’ll find times and other information. No special glasses needed.

Meanwhile, here is a new interview with Richards by the Christian Post. He observes, “If you watch videos of people during total eclipses they gasp and scream and cry, and so there is some kind of primordial connection that we have to eclipses that is very hard to account for.” Indeed.

If you’re in the field already yourself, stay safe and enjoy the show!
