Our biologist colleague Richard Sternberg chatted with me today on Facebook Live about a formative intellectual experience for him — an encounter with theoretical biologist Robert Rosen and his work. Rejecting “knee-jerk” reductionism in biology, as Rosen did, was a crucial step for Dr. Sternberg in his own evolution in the direction of intelligent design theory. Sternberg emphasizes that Rosen himself did not take that step. But let him tell his own story!
