Q&A with Michael Behe: Why Don’t More Scientists Embrace Intelligent Design?

Intelligent Design

This week we are highlighting the 41-part video course from DiscoveryU., “Michael Behe Investigates Evolution and Intelligent Design.” What kind of an instructor is Professor Behe? A remarkably lucid one. To demonstrate that, we have been offering a series of informal Q&A sessions with him. Here he answers a common question: Why don’t more scientists embrace ID as he does?

It sounds like an excellent challenge. Behe has three answers, starting from the observation that scientists are only humans, after all: “They don’t just grind logic without worrying or caring about other things, too.” Enjoy his analysis — and find more information about the video course here.
