Yesterday a reporter at the Argus Leader in South Dakota called to interview me. We discussed a bill that’s recently been submitted in his state.
Academic freedom bills are only intended to cover topics that are already in the curriculum. Topics that are not in the curriculum (like intelligent design) are not covered by such legislation.
Darwin lobbyists cried that Louisiana’s sci-tech economy would tank because of the Science Education Act, and guess what happened?
Governor of Tennessee Bill Haslam allowed his state’s academic freedom bill to become law, but he also bought into some of the falsehoods being spread by the Darwin Lobby.
Darwinists are working hard to pressure Governor Haslam into vetoing an academic freedom bill that has passed both houses in that state.
