Dark matter is the unknown substance thought to make up some 27 percent of the universe. It can’t be observed but only theorized.
January 30 is the deadline to apply for this important, enlightening, and fun event, organized by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) and held in Discovery Institute’s offices.
“Science,” says chemist Marcos Eberlin, “should appeal only to causes that are supported by data, supported by evidence.”
Note that “peaceful enjoyment by the inhabitants” is a very broad term that is not limited to human beings. Rather, it includes everything from grass, fish, and insects, to mice, snakes, and people.
