Video: Amazing Molecular Machines, and Still So Much to Learn
We’ve pointed you in the past to Drew Berry’s TED talks in which the biomedical animator reveals the hidden world of molecular machinery. Here’s another one that includes, as a chilling bonus, an animation of how the malaria parasite infects the body. Did you know that mosquitos, including malaria-carrying ones, are normally vegetarian and nourish themselves from nectar and fruit juice and the like? Only the pregnant female feeds on human blood.
Berry’s own amazement at what he’s showing us is itself a moving testament to the evident design at work here.
