The movie will be in theaters for three nights only in November, and will feature a conversation between Dr. Lennox and Stephen Meyer following the screening.
The “God Delusion” debate between dueling Oxford scholars — biologist Richard Dawkins and mathematician John Lennox was a Sold Out show, and no wonder.
“Once you lose the kind of stabilizing influence of rational thought and respect,” says John Lennox, “then you can end up with violence, as we have seen.”
Lennox: “Stephen Hawking was a brilliant mathematician and a genius. But he had no idea about philosophy.”
“I owe him an immense amount because although he wasn’t a scientist, he understood science. He understood the implications and the philosophy of science.”
