This was supposed to be of scientific interest, educating visitors in the evolutionary doctrine that placed Africans in close relationship to apes.
It’s not, how shall I say this, an audience guaranteed to be sympathetic to a critique of Darwinism and its social impact, even one as thoroughly researched and accurately told as this.
Some voices, if not necessarily thoughtful or serious ones, have recognized this, while at the same time missing the point.
